Privacy Policy — DTStuff

This privacy policy describes how DTStuff (hereinafter "the Application"), published by Makeintouch (hereinafter "we", "our" or "the Publisher"), collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable data protection laws.

By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data Collected

2.1 Data stored locally on your device

The Application uses Hive, a local database, to store the following information directly on your device:

  • Your created equipment sets ("stuffs")
  • Your organizational folders
  • The Dofus Touch game item database
  • Your application preferences and settings

Important: This data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. It never leaves your device unless you voluntarily use a community sharing feature (when available).

2.2 Authentication data

The Application integrates Firebase Authentication by Google. If you choose to create an account, the following data may be collected:

  • Email address
  • Unique user identifier (Firebase UID)
  • Profile information (display name, profile picture if provided)

2.3 Data automatically collected by third-party services

  • Google AdMob: Advertising identifier, device data, IP address, ad interactions — for displaying personalized or non-personalized ads
  • Firebase Authentication: Email address, UID, login metadata — for user account management
  • Firebase Cloud Firestore: Shared stuff data (if community feature is enabled) — for community sharing of equipment sets

3. Legal Bases for Processing

In accordance with the GDPR (Article 6), we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent (Art. 6.1.a): For displaying personalized ads via AdMob. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Contract performance (Art. 6.1.b): For operating the Application and providing the services you have requested (account creation, saving your stuffs).
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): For improving the Application and preventing abuse.

4. Purposes of Processing

Your data is used to:

  • Provide and maintain the Application's features
  • Save your equipment sets and preferences locally
  • Manage your user account (if created)
  • Display ads via Google AdMob
  • Enable community sharing (upcoming feature)
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your data may be shared with the following third parties, solely for the purposes described above:

6. International Data Transfers

Google services (AdMob, Firebase) may transfer data to the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are governed by:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission
  • The EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable

7. Data Retention

  • Local data (Hive): Retained until the Application is deleted or manually cleared by the user
  • Firebase account: Retained until the account is deleted by the user or after 3 years of inactivity
  • Advertising data (AdMob): In accordance with Google's retention policy

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: Obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data
  • Right to restriction: Restrict the processing of your data
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object: Object to the processing of your data, including for marketing purposes
  • Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent at any time for processing based on consent

We will respond to your request within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France: CNIL — www.cnil.fr).

9. Advertising and Consent

The Application displays ads via Google AdMob. In accordance with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive:

  • A consent banner will be presented at first launch for personalized advertising
  • You may choose to see non-personalized ads instead
  • You may update your advertising preferences at any time in the Application settings
  • You may reset your advertising identifier in your device settings

10. Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@makeintouch.fr so we can take the necessary steps.

11. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • Encrypted local storage via Hive on your device
  • Secure communications via HTTPS with Firebase services
  • Secure authentication via Firebase Authentication
  • No transmission of your local data without your explicit action

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The mobile application does not use cookies in the traditional sense. However, integrated third-party SDKs (AdMob, Firebase) may use device identifiers and similar tracking technologies to function. Consent for these technologies is collected in accordance with Section 9.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised update date. In the event of a material change, we will notify you via an in-app notification.
