Privacy Policy — DTStuff

Last updated: 08/31/2026

This privacy policy describes how DTStuff (hereinafter "the Application"), published by Makeintouch (hereinafter "we", "our" or "the Publisher"), collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable data protection laws.

By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Data Controller Identity

  • Publisher: Makeintouch
  • Application: DTStuff
  • Identifier: com.makeintouch.dtstuff
  • Contact: contact@makeintouch.fr

2. Data Collected

2.1 Data stored locally on your device

The Application uses Hive, a local database, to store the following information directly on your device:

  • Your created equipment sets ("stuffs") and your organizational folders
  • Your inventory of owned items and your workshop lists
  • Your game progression: experience, quests, achievements, streaks, Mobadex collection, created skins
  • Your progress in each of the daily mini-games
  • The Dofus Touch item, monster and recipe database
  • Your application preferences and settings

Offline operation: the Application is designed to work without a connection. Local storage is the reference source, and the Application remains fully usable without an account.

Synchronization: if you create an account and sign in, your stuffs, progression and collection are synchronized to our servers (Firebase Cloud Firestore) so that you can retrieve them on another device and avoid losing them if you reinstall. Without an account, none of this data leaves your device.

2.2 Account and authentication data

The Application integrates Firebase Authentication by Google. If you choose to create an account — by email, via Google or via Apple — the following data is collected:

  • Email address
  • Unique user identifier (Firebase UID)
  • Profile information: display name, profile picture and emblem if you provide them
  • Login metadata (creation date, last sign-in)

Signing in with Apple allows you to hide your real email address behind a relay address provided by Apple.

2.3 Data related to community features

If you use the community features, the content you voluntarily publish is stored on our servers and made visible to other users:

  • Shared stuffs, with their title, description and comments
  • Public profile: display name, picture, emblem, progression statistics
  • Follows, likes and leaderboards
  • Participation in drafts, multiplayer games and events

Publishing is optional: not publishing anything does not prevent any other feature of the Application from working.

2.4 Audience and advertising performance measurement

The Application integrates Google Analytics for Firebase in order to understand how the Application is used and to evaluate the performance of ad placements. This collection is subject to your consent and disabled by default.

The data measured is:

  • An application instance identifier (app instance ID), randomly generated and resettable
  • Usage events: screens viewed, features used, mini-games played
  • Advertising events: ad impression, placement concerned, estimated impression revenue, format and ad network that served the ad
  • Technical characteristics: device model, operating system, language, approximate country

What we do not measure: we do not associate your email address, your account identifier or your display name with these measurements. No content you enter — stuff name, search text, message — is sent to the measurement tool. Measurement data is not linked to your identity.

2.5 Crash reports

The Application uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes. In the event of an incident, the following is transmitted: the error type and its stack trace, the device model, the operating system and Application versions, along with an anonymous installation identifier. No personal content is included.

2.6 Notifications

If you accept them, the Application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you notifications (mini-game reminders, community activity). A device token is then registered. You can withdraw this permission at any time in your device settings.

2.7 Advertising

Google AdMob collects the device advertising identifier, technical data, the IP address and your interactions with ads, in order to display personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

In accordance with the GDPR (Article 6), we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent (Art. 6.1.a): for displaying personalized ads, for accessing and storing information on your device for advertising purposes, and for audience and advertising performance measurement. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Contract performance (Art. 6.1.b): for operating the Application and providing the services you request — account creation, synchronization of your stuffs and progression, community publishing.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): for fixing crashes, securing the Application and preventing abuse and leaderboard fraud.

4. Purposes of Processing

Your data is used to:

  • Provide and maintain the Application's features
  • Save your equipment sets, your progression and your preferences
  • Manage your user account and synchronize your data across your devices
  • Enable community sharing, leaderboards and multiplayer games
  • Display ads via Google AdMob
  • Measure Application usage and ad placement performance, in order to improve the Application and balance its funding
  • Send you notifications, if you have accepted them
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your data may be shared with the following processors, solely for the purposes described:

  • Google LLC — AdMob, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase. Google Privacy Policy
  • Typesense Inc. — search engine used for community search. Only published stuff data is indexed there. Typesense Privacy Policy
  • Apple Inc. and Google LLC — processing of Premium subscriptions through the App Store and the Google Play Store. We do not receive any payment card data.

These third-party services are subject to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

6. International Data Transfers

Google and Typesense services may transfer data to the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are governed by:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission
  • The EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where applicable

7. Data Retention

  • Local data (Hive): retained until the Application is deleted or manually cleared by the user
  • Account and synchronized data: retained until the account is deleted by the user or after 3 years of inactivity
  • Published community content: retained until deleted by its author or until the account is deleted
  • Audience measurement data: 14 months maximum at user level, in accordance with Google Analytics retention settings. Aggregated data is retained without time limit.
  • Crash reports: 90 days
  • Advertising data (AdMob): in accordance with Google's retention policy

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: Obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data
  • Right to restriction: Restrict the processing of your data
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object: Object to the processing of your data, including for marketing purposes
  • Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent at any time for processing based on consent

The most direct way to exercise your right of withdrawal is the "Manage consent" section of the Application settings, which reopens the choice form. Deleting your account, and therefore your synchronized data, is also available from the settings.

For any other request, contact us at: contact@makeintouch.fr

We will respond to your request within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France: CNILwww.cnil.fr).

9. Consent, Advertising and Measurement

The Application displays ads via Google AdMob and measures their performance via Google Analytics for Firebase. In accordance with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive:

  • A consent form compliant with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) is presented to you before any advertising and any measurement
  • As long as you have not given your consent, no audience measurement is performed: collection starts disabled and is only enabled after your choice
  • You may choose to see non-personalized ads; the Application then remains fully functional
  • You may change your preferences at any time via "Manage consent" in the Application settings; withdrawing your consent immediately stops measurement
  • You may reset your advertising identifier in your device settings

On iOS, a separate tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) is requested by the system. Refusing it does not prevent you from using the Application.

10. Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@makeintouch.fr so we can take the necessary steps.

11. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • Local storage on your device, protected by the operating system's mechanisms
  • Encrypted communications via HTTPS with all remote services
  • Secure authentication via Firebase Authentication
  • Server access rules restricting each piece of data to its owner
  • No synchronization of your local data without you creating an account

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The mobile application does not use cookies in the traditional sense. However, the integrated third-party SDKs use device identifiers and similar technologies to function: advertising identifier (AdMob), application instance identifier (Analytics), installation identifier (Crashlytics, Messaging). Storing and reading these identifiers is subject to the consent collected in accordance with Section 9.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised update date. In the event of a material change, we will notify you via an in-app notification, and new consent will be requested where the law requires it.

We recommend reviewing this policy regularly.
